GREAT FOR THE CITY

With outstanding pickup at low engine speeds and an extended range of application, the new range of DXi2.5 and DXi3 engines is designed for intensive urban use. Available in 110, 130 and 150 hp ratings, they deliver punch and flexibility of use.

GEARBOXES FOR ALL USES

The Renault Maxity range is equipped with gearboxes suited to a broad range of uses.

The range also includes a 6 speed automated gearbox for all 150 hp models. With its special short first gear, the 6 speed gearbox offers greater driveability, while protecting the drive train during low speed use.

• 5 and 6 speed gearboxes.
• Low axle ratio to avoid clutch wear in low-speed and continuous start / stop situations.
• Limited slip differential capable, during off-road or on-snow driving, of transmitting more torque to the wheel, which does not lose grip.

ENDURANCE UP TO ANY CHALLENGE

Renault Maxity is fitted with comfortable and robust axles and suspension :

Front axle gear:

• Capacity: 1,750 kg.
• Independent front suspension: better ride and greater on-board comfort.
• Generously dimensioned front antiroll bar (26 mm).

Rear axle gear:

• Capacity: 2,000 kg (2.8 t and 3.2t); 2,200 kg (3.5t); 3300 kg (4.5t)
• Rigid axle and parabolic leaf suspension.
• Antiroll bar (25 mm).

The reinforced suspension is suitable for the most demanding applications: construction sites, refuse collection, etc.

VERSATILITY ON DEMAND

Real truck build and a unique sidemember-based chassis design allow the Renault Maxity to be used for a wide range of applications. It can be easily fitted with most types of bodywork and equipment.

OPTIMUM AVAILABILITY

From raw materials right through to assembly, the Renault Maxity is systematically checked throughout the entire manufacturing process to ensure reliability and longevity. The heavy duty battery and alternator supplied as standard (according to version) increase the endurance of equipped vehicles: refuse collector, access platform, tipper, etc.

• Heavy duty battery: 110 Ah (2 x 65 Ah on 150 hp).
• Very high capacity alternator: 130 A or 135 A (150 hp).
