NEW EURO5 ENGINES CUT CONSUMPTION, NOT EFFICIENCY

Renault Midlum is available with new, more powerful engines ranging from 180 to 220 hp for the DXi5 and from 270 to 300 hp for the DXi7, all offering controlled fuel consumption. The integration of SCR technology, a maintenance free exhaust gas aftertreatment method, helps lower consumption even more.

BETTER TORQUE FOR SMOOTHER DRIVING

With the increased power ratings now available, the new torque delivery band - from 660 Nm (180 hp) to 1,070 Nm (300 hp) - allows for smoother, more economical driving. Available torque and maximum power are adapted so as to minimise gear changes, optimise consumption and improve average journey speeds.

15% savings in maintenance costs

For even more efficiency and savings, Renault Midlum is fitted with a pre-catalyser (on 180, 270 and 300 hp), a new air intake (on DXi7), a new AdBlue injector, new turbo-compressors with waste gate control, a new exhaust outlet (on 180, 270 and 300 hp) and a number of other evolutions that reduce the upkeep of the vehicle and can save, on average, 15% in maintenance costs.

Optitronic Gearbox*: PERFORMANCE IN EVERY MODE

The new Optitronic* automated gearbox improves gearshifting comfort and lowers operating costs. Its steering mounted controls, associated with the digital dashboard and display, allows you to easily choose the most appropriate mode for each situation: 'Economy' for the best consumption/performance ratio; 'Manoeuvre' to increase vehicle precision when manoeuvring; 'Kick down' for instant acceleration; ''Temporary manual'' to take control of the gearbox.
