We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives across the Stoke territory. This role is pivotal in expanding our customer base, deepening relationships, and driving sales penetration across our core offerings: Renault Trucks, Isuzu Trucks, Contract Hire & Rental, Used Vehicles, Trailers, and Aftermarket Sales.

Using your interpersonal skills, you will strengthen rapport and showcase our tailored after Sales Support Services, driving revenue growth whilst exceeding our customers’ expectations!

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Sales & Revenue Targets – Achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets across:

  • Renault Trucks
  • Isuzu Trucks
  • Contract Hire & Rental
  • Used Vehicles
  • Trailers
  • Aftermarket Products

 

Customer Engagement

  • Number of new customer accounts opened per quarter
  • Frequency and quality of customer visits and interactions
  • Customer satisfaction scores and feedback

 

Market Penetration

  • Growth in market share within the Stoke territory
  • Conversion rate of leads to sales
  • Performance against competitor benchmarks

 

Operational Efficiency

  • CRM usage and data accuracy
  • Timeliness of reporting and forecasting
  • Lead response time and follow-up effectiveness

 

Collaboration Metrics

  • Number of joint initiatives with the Stoke Dealer Point Team (e.g. campaigns, events, customer visits)
  • Participation in cross-functional meetings and planning sessions
  • Feedback from internal stakeholders on teamwork and communication
  • Contribution to group-wide sales strategies and sharing of best practices
  • Responsiveness and support provided to other departments (e.g. service, rental, finance)

 

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably within the commercial vehicle or transport sector.
  • Strong knowledge of truck sales, contract hire, rental, and aftermarket services.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and data-driven sales approaches.
  • Full UK driving licence.
