As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fleet Compliance Manager to join our team to manage the vehicle maintenance cost and compliance operations for our fleet of 1400 vehicles and trailers.

Fleet Compliance Manager Role Overview:
You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of vehicle maintenance, including inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance programs and play a crucial role in maximising uptime and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Hours Mon- Fri 45 hours per week working one in 9 Saturdays (08:00-12:00)
Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and develop a team of three maintenance controllers and planners, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Manage and develop maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure the timely servicing and repair of vehicles.
- Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs and address any issues promptly.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to procure services for repairs and maintenance activities, with appropriate SLAs and measures in place.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and service history.
- Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Analyse maintenance data, cost, and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimise vehicle utilisation and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in vehicle maintenance or a similar role within the transportation industry
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial vehicle and their components
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel as needed
